The Ferrofish PULSE8 AE is a compact 8×8 AD/DA converter with balanced TRS I/O and dual ADAT optical ports supporting up to 192 kHz via SMUX. It features 32-bit ESS converters with ultra-low latency (~3 samples), 112 dB/120 dB SNR (in/out), and THD+N of –108 dB/–115 dB. The unit offers a high-resolution display for real-time metering, a 4-stage headphone amp, word clock I/O, USB-C for remote control, MIDI I/O for firmware updates, and an optional DSP expansion slot. Powered via 12 V DC, it supports multiple sync sources for flexible integration.
